CTEH® announces Ray Meyer as Director of Emergency Response Crisis Management
CTEH® is excited to announce Ray Meyer, CEM, has joined our team. Ray brings over 35 years of Emergency Management experience to the organization as an experienced Incident Commander and Emergency Manager. He has recently completed his Certification as an Emergency Manager (CEM) through the International Association of Emergency Managers. The “comprehensive” aspect of this professional certification in Emergency Management includes all four phases of disaster activity: mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery for a wide variety of risks including: terrorist attack, man-made, and natural.

Ray contributes extensive consulting experience in crisis management planning and oil spill/ environmental and natural disaster response with expertise in incident leadership, personnel training, budgeting, account management, public relations, procurement, human resources, equipment maintenance, safety and regulatory compliance.
Ray is certified as a Type 3 Incident Commander and proficient in NIMS, Incident Management System. He is currently trained to the Advance ICS level completing ICS 100, 200, 300, 305, 320, 400, 430, 440, 450 scheduled, 700, 700a, 700b, 800 and numerous other ICS training and exercise programs.
Ray’s Emergency Management career began in the U. S. Coast Guard where he retired as a Captain. He has held senior positions within multiple Emergency Management companies where he has developed business strategies and objectives that improved both traditional business processes and their respective preparedness programs including planning preparation, training and exercise programs that lead to a fully qualified Incident Management Teams.
