Dr. Wnek’s background includes a B.S. in Biology from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio with coursework focusing on microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, gross anatomy, physiology, and genetics.
Advanced training in pharmacology and toxicology (Ph.D.) with an emphasis on environmental toxicology, metals toxicology and mechanisms of carcinogenesis.
Participates in projects involving critical evaluation of chemical exposure and implications of disease
Responding toxicologist and member of the CTEH® Toxicology Emergency Response Program (TERP®).
