Director of Technology
Mr. Davis received a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Management from Arkansas Tech University, Russellville, AR. He has been with CTEH® for over 15 years and serves as Director of Technology, and has built the department from the ground up. Mr. Davis’ primary responsibilities include the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions throughout the corporation. He manages a team of over 20 data management, software development, and GIS specialists. His team revolutionized field data collection by eliminating paper forms by utilizing a scalable, multi-platform mobile development framework. Mr. Davis is always looking for the best technological solution to bring to the field of emergency response and incident management.
Alongside his team, Mr. Davis aims to meet client requests for customized solutions, as well as, provide support and maintenance of existing applications. He has helped lead CTEH® into the development of proprietary software and unique technological solutions that provide a high level of data visualization and situational awareness to clients while in the field. Mr. Davis also specializes in GIS, data management, field communications deployment, web application development, and other general information technology duties.
Mr. Davis has responded to the majority of major oil spills in the US in the past 15 years, where he provided data management and GIS support for environmental and industrial hygiene aspects of each project. Within a project, he fully understands the requirements of each of his personnel and can easily mold into any data management scenario as a Project Lead. Mr. Davis goes beyond the perceived constraints of management and truly works alongside his team, in any role necessary, to get the project completed successfully.
