Mr. Britt brings 10 years of experience leading and supporting skilled teams focused on enhancing safety and compliance within fast-paced, high-risk environments. His experience includes industrial hygiene, emergency response, safety, quality assurance, training and occupational health and has focused on establishing programs and procedures for oil, gas, energy, manufacturing, agricultural and science and research corporations, as well as 4 years of maritime experience with the United States Coast Guard. He is a board-certified industrial hygienist, safety professional, and hazardous materials manager with a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston.
Mr. Britt has served as an industrial hygienist and safety professional in the onshore and offshore in the oil and gas industry, established industrial hygiene programs, health risk analysis, assessment protocols, developed SOP’s and served as a health and safety subject matter expert. He conducts exposure assessments for chemicals (particulates, solvents, dusts, etc.), biological (viable and non-viable), physical (noise, heat/ cold stress, non-ionizing radiation), and ergonomic stressors. He has applied his skills in the on and offshore exploration and production environment, corporate health and safety, major government remediation projects, petrochemical and crude facilities, and during his time in the United States Coast Guard.
Mr. Britt excels at public speaking, training, presenting to all levels of an organization, development of communication products, workforce interaction, and project management. He has designed, implemented, and maintained industrial hygiene programs, developed HSE systems, performed toxicological assessments, implemented corporate-wide systems for maintaining industrial hygiene and employee exposure and health records, modernized company-wide health and safety record-keeping systems, and developed and implemented new data solutions to existing health and safety issues across multiple industries.
