CTEH® Announces Appointment of Allen “Higg” Higginbotham as Director of TERP®

Please join CTEH® in congratulating Allen “Higg” Higginbotham, REM on his appointment as Director of Toxicology Emergency Response Program (TERP®) effective September 1, 2015. Higg joined CTEH® in September, 2013 as a member of the Major Projects Team and we look forward to continued success as he takes on his new role.

Allen “Higg” Higginbotham is a Registered Environmental Manager (REM) and has 24 years’ experience in the HAZMAT Emergency Response Industry and personnel management. He specializes in industrial and hazardous material firefighting, emergency response, remediation, industrial services, training and response center management. His responsibilities include managing hazardous material emergencies, remediation and industrial services. He possesses leadership and management skills to properly manage and utilize personnel’s capabilities, equipment deployment, and resource allocation while keeping safety paramount.

Higg will be replacing Jeff Lewellin who has held the Director role for the past 2 years since August, 2013. CTEH® is very appreciative of Jeff’s contribution to the department’s growth and we wish him continued success in the future.
