OSHA Support & Compliance

With a team that includes Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs) and a former state OSHA Inspector, CTEH^® has responded to a number of accidents and chemical incidents that resulted in OSHA inspections. CTEH^® routinely conducts industrial hygiene surveys in order to ensure the abatement(defined as the correction of the safety or health hazard/violation that led to an OSHA citation) of citations that resulted from OSHA general schedule and follow-up inspections. CTEH^® has conducted OSHA inspection projects for a wide range of industries that have involved one or more of the following elements:

• Conducted accident investigations to determine the root cause and contributing factors
• Evaluated the site specific health and safety programs
• Interviewed affected workers and contract employees
• Prepared for interviews with OSHA Compliance Officers
• Advised company representatives on OSHA inspection procedures
• Conducted hazard assessments to identify and evaluate potential workplace safety and health hazards
• Participated in OSHA Compliance Officers proceedings
• Provided recommendations for the abatement of OSHA citations
• Performed comprehensive safety and health audits in compliance with OSHA standards
• Advised company representatives and legal counsel on OSHA citations hazard/violation that led to an OSHA citation.
