Openings in Kemah, TX and Jackson, MS performing industrial hygiene and project management activities. Minimum requirements include the following:

• Bachelors degree in industrial hygiene/safety or related field; alternatively, a degree in a related science may be accepted subject to mandatory completion of an approved Industrial Hygiene course within the first year of employment in this position
• Effectively communicate, be extremely organized and detailed oriented
• Familiarity with data management and word processing software
• Ability to perform duties in work setting with potential physical, biological, and chemical hazards including, but not necessarily limited to, lifting heavy objects, extreme weather conditions, rapidly moving transportation and remediation equipment, and physical stress associated with cumbersome personal protective equipment.
• Within one year of employment be able to understand the concepts of OSHA regulations, other occupational health and safety standards and guidelines, and apply them appropriately to a variety of workplaces
• Within one year of employment have the ability to apply basic industrial hygiene concepts of anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling hazards to workers, the general public, and the environment
• Familiar with operating IH sampling/monitoring equipment/instruments and the ability to quickly learn how to operate unfamiliar equipment/instruments
• Current drivers license
• Able to work overtime or on weekends, if necessary
